由于《孢子》确认年内上市，游戏开发商“Maxis”近日来到伦敦展示接近完成的《孢子》。 据开发商介绍，《孢子》目前几乎完成了开发工作。今年9月7日可以如期上市。
与07莱比锡游戏展时期相比较，游戏现在看起来更加完善。从单细胞进化到星际战争，所有元素都展示在玩家面前。

游戏介绍：
和《模拟人生》、《模拟城市》等这些巨作比较起来，《SPORE》这款游戏模拟的范围更为宏观。比如说本作将会从一个人，一个城市渐渐发展成一个物种的产生。游戏开始需要玩家从数十亿年前的单细胞生物逐步向前发展，随着时间的推移进化成多细胞生物，再进一步发展大脑功能，最后产生出群集生物，这个时候再体验生命成长的过程。这个成长过程好似《帝国》那款系列游戏一样，从原始社会开始，逐步进化到现在文明发展。除了模拟成分外，这款游戏还具备重要的战略要素和简易编辑器。玩家在这里可以控制生物发展文明，如果喜欢征战，使用强大的武力还可以征服其它星球。至于游戏编辑器方面，是方便玩家根据自己的喜好来设计游戏内容。这款新作的最大的特征就是让玩家从养育单细胞生物开始，发展到最后创造出整个星际文明。
